About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I think the mission of everyone using CS is to promote knowledge about either culture or personal background.

ABOUT ME

I always want to know more about someone's culture and roots. To me, everyone has something interesting to tell us and the more we know about other culture, the more we figure out how ignorant we are!

I'm a ice hockey player. Since I'm 3, i have played in hockey teams and I can't stop playing the game. I won several team awards playing it and I went to France at 14 years old to play an international tournament. We won against the Russians (the Epic battle!)

PHILOSOPHY

Great moments are born from great opportunities.
The more i want something done, the less I call it work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a member, i'd like people all around the world learn to discover my town which is Montréal located in La Belle Province.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I haven't done a lot of CS experience properly said. I surfed beds of friends all around the world though. I went to Mexico (Veracruz and Tampico), France (Montpellier) and also Vancouver. I'm very respectful regarding people who couches me.

Interests

I love sports. Recently, i'm training myself to run a 21k. I've been playing hockey since I'm 3. I often play soccer and tennis. Golf is a sport I'll improve while i'll be aging!
I also like cultures. For example, 7/8 of my trips were not in a hotel but rather in a house or youth hostels. I hate being tagged as a vacationer who doesn't care about how people live where he travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Dan Brown's books.
Matt Damon is my favorite actor (Will Hunting is my favorite movie)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done is my Euro trip 3 years ago. My best friend and I went to Europe for 2 months. We'd been travelling in 8 countries. The best discoveries we did were walking down normal streets and just look how normal people live.

The best trip is the one that makes you feel like a local.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a French Canadian person, i can teach French! It's quite similar as Spanish.
I can teach people the rules of ice hockey as well! Some don't understand how this play works!
