Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't used couch-surfing before but i'm looking forward to having lots of fun and interesting couch-surfing experiences.

Interests

Nature, exercise, language, good food & good beer, reading, music, rugby, darts, petanque, woodland & mountains, writing..badly, things that make me go "ooh thats pretty" or "ow that was tough". And of course TRAVEL!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Summer 2012, I spent 6 difficult weeks walking through France. I walked a distance of 1000 miles with all my gear on my back and was able to raise some money for a great charity. There were many challenges to overcome and lessons to be learnt. The best thing I took away from the trip was a reinforced appreciation for some of the great little pleasures in life that we all sometimes take for granted.
