I think I have a friendly, easy-going personality. I am polite, helpful and generous with a dry sense of humour. I love travelling. I have been lucky enough to visit many European countries as well as Australia, Japan, Mexico and the USA.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with 5 different hosts in South Africa during the World Cup.
I have hosted several couchsurfers over the last year or so, meeting people from different countries. My overall experience has been very rewarding and positive.

Interests

My main passions are music, cinema and watching football. Other interests include reading, photography and trying to keep fit by cycling, walking and swimming.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movies; Amelie, Baraka, Bladerunner, Gladiator, Groundhog Day and It`s A Wonderful Life.
Music; Mostly indie - such as Muse, Radiohead, The Killers, U2 and Florence And The Machine. I also like rock, pop, dance, classical and chill out stuff.
Books; Life Of Pi, Love In The Time Of Cholera, Hi-Fidelity, Birdsong, Hokkaido Highway Blues, The Magus, The Lord Of The Rings, anything by Bill Bryson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to play cricket when I was younger and I once took a hat-trick with the last 3 balls of the match to win a league game! I have seen some fantastic sights during my travels but sunset over the Grand Canyon is the one that stands out.
