Overview
About Me
I was an engineer for 10 years but got bored of that and went travelling for about 13 months in 2015. When I got back, I tried out a few different things and ended up as an outdoor guide 🤙
Pretty happy and easy going person these days (it's amazing how travelling teaches you patience).
Love learning new things, living life as fully as possible, and hanging out with family and friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I'm travelling, I love to meet locals and get an insiders track on the best way to experience their home. Also, love to meet interesting people to share good food and great conversations.
Interests
When the weather is nice, I tend to spend my time outdoors, hiking, taking photos or on the river. And when the weather is not so nice, you'll probably find me reading a book on various subjects (normally self help 😅).
Also love cooking healthy nutritious food, listening to music and dancing, normally all at the same time 😁

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different things including RHCP, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Lorde, ms mr, Banks, Florence and the machine, Flume, Alicia Keys, John Legend, The XX, Gramatik, EDM occasionally. Lots of funk and jazz, classics from the 80s and 90s as well.
Favourite movies include any Tarantino flick, the green mile, shawshank redemption, the marvel movies, dark knight (with heath ledger as the Joker), fight club, inception, the matrix, saving private Ryan, wolf of wall Street, pixar movies, million dollar baby, Jason Bourne series
Like most people, I was hooked on GoT until the last few episodes of the last season. Also, highly recommend westworld if you haven't already seen it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many things come to mind, but sailing to Antarctica in a catamaran tops the list.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be happy to teach you what I know about photography or yoga.
Would love to learn more about Permaculture if you know anything about it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could make you a home cooked meal (meat or vegetarian), good conversation, cocktails (if you keep a stocked bar).
