About Me

CURRENT MISSION

The travel around the world with my Solatrike II has come to a stop since 2020, but will go on in June 2024.

ABOUT ME

I was traveling all around the world and have been on every continent so far, but that was not enough. My new project is traveling around the world with my Solatrike II. A recumbent-electric assisted-trike which is powered by Solar panels. I hope that I can travel with that as far as it can and as long as I can. Between 2015 and 2020 I came with it already 40000km from Europe through Asia, around Australia and across New Zealand. Since 2020 it was on a break due to the pandemic, but I will continue in June 2024.
I will travel although I suffer from a disease, have to take medicines and avoid some meals (Seafood and most meat). That's why I'm a vegetarian.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life, because God wants me to live my life as it is. No worries, even if I believe that Jesus is my savior. I'm not on a missionary trip. I won't and cannot turn you into a christian if you and God don't want. As a christian I'm not a better person - but I'm on my way...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already had some good experiences with Couchsurfer and there will be many more good experiences to come. As I travel by bike, I mostly use Warmshowers and have only had good experiences with nice people there too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Set the foot on the Antarctic is surely one of the amazing things in my life, but there are countless other adventures as well. I'm still overwhelmed by the love of friends and even unknown People.

Teach, Learn, Share

Although it's an old saying: "Live your dreams and don't dream your life" there is truth in it. We have to wake up and live before we die. It's sad when you're getting old and say: Oh, I wanted to do this and that when I was younger but have never made it. I'm not the youngest and have no special skills or a muscular body, but though I try to travel around the world with a special vehicle. But I'm not that person who think: "When I can do that, so you can do it too". My project is just an example, what I like to do most, you might have totally different dreams - and that is good. My dream is to travel as far as I can and as long as I can with my Solatrike. But my aim is to live a new life, see the world, get in contact with different people and share my dreams with others. So it doesn't matter if my project will come to a big success or a desaster. Every meter (or mile) I come forward is a gift. When it's over before I surrounded the world, then is the finish there. Even when I'm upset with my own project after some years and will stop it - where is the problem? I have come this far and made several experiences which I wouldn't have made, when I didn't startet to this trip. I just want to encourage that you can live your dreams - but you have to stand up and go in that direction of your dream. You can do more than you think!
By the way I can teach a bit of playing the Blues, Photography and drawing if you like and I'm courious of your skills in that as well to learn from you.
