ABOUT ME

Very open minded. Like to talk about culture, politics, comedy and philosophy and music.

I have been living in Denmark for 2 of the last 3 years. Six months, I was researching for my MA thesis in South Africa. The remaining 6 month was spent doing activism in Hamburg. I have recently returned to the UK as I ran out of money and was able to get a job in Leicester.

I like mountains, bread, bargains, skiing, holidays, chocolate, internet, dancing, singing out of tune, having a good old rant, eating, ice hockey, christmas, beaches, reading, films, being drunk, swimming, sketch shows, impressions, puppets, cartoons, markets, snow, father ted, driving, pillow fighting, cooking, sense of freedom, rewiring plugs, drinking games, Seinfeld, climbing trees.

I don't like hershy chocolate, dipping biscuits in beverages, elitism, milk, meat, drowning, beige, that sheet between me and the duvet, ironing, being overruled, being wrong, expense, slow internet, how washing up just never ends, failing, show-offs, delays, spending more money than i have, people reading over my shoulder or talking through TV, random people in the street who want a minute or two or three or eternity, bigots (including myself who is prejudiced against bigots), the recorder (the instrument), that thing where you think you're falling and suddenly jerk up, gardening, waiting, the morning after the night before.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always up for a coffee/beer for newbies, visitors, or anyone else. When I am able to host, I will. I have a double blow up bed in my small studio. You will sleep in the same room as me - the only room there is.

Always positive. Have met a bunch of cool people already and hope this continues!
