I am a helicopter pilot. I get to fly helicopters a lot. If I was a game show host, I would hardly get to fly helicopters at all. If I was a dog, same thing, not much helicopter flying. I have a friend who makes the plastic things that go on the ends of hoses. He doesn't get to fly helicopters at all. Not that he minds, because he loves making the plastic things that go on the ends of hoses. He'd hate to be a helicopter pilot. I however, would hate to make the plastic things that go on the ends of hoses. That's why I'm a helicopter pilot.

I love meeting people from other countries and spending time with them, hoping to learn more about them and where they come from. But as much as I love other countries, I'm very proud of being Australian. Everyone should feel the same about their home country (cultural, not political).

Also, I'm not really a helicopter pilot. It would be pretty awesome if I was, but I'm scared of heights and loud noises.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Finally on the road again after a year and a half at home trying to save money. Can't wait to meet you and crash on your couch!

I am looking to meet the locals so I can get to know about them and their lifestyle, rather than spend time with other tourists in hostels. IMPORTANT to know if I make a request I don't mind staying with other surfers or sleeping on the floor. I love meeting people so the more the merrier, just as long as it isn't too much trouble for the host.

If you agree to host me I'll always buy you a beer (or whatever you choose).

Interests

I love sports, music, comedy, and of course travel. If you like any of these then we should have plenty to talk about. I love going out in every new town I visit for the local food and a few drinks. I'll buy the first round!

I also love writing. I do script writing and travel writing. During my travels I have been writing a travel blog. There have been some great stories and I encourage people to have a read.
