About Me

Live for music and the outdoors!

Love surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing and always looking to try new outdoor sports!

Play guitar and love writing music, mostly acoustic music but also love playing dub and reggae!

Music is massive part of my life, wherever I am I always have music playing. I listen to soooo many different genres of music, depending on how I'm feeling.

Have a passion for cooking / baking and even more of a passion for eating! There's nothing I don't like and always up for trying new food!

I work in the live events industry, mainly as a sound engineer. I'm very lucky to be at a time and place right now where my work gives me a lot of time off and freedom to go wherever I want. I plan on using this time to travel as much as I can and meet new people.

I believe life is all about the experiences you have and the people you meet. You can't take money with you when you pass on from this life, but your experiences and influence on the people around you will live on forever.

I love to party and am up for almost anything. My preferred night out would be a lively pub / venue with good live music and of course great people, although I never say no to a night out clubbing!

I am an animal lover and especially love cats!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met some awesome people recently in Newquay, Cornwall who had travelled Europe and the UK for 4 weeks mostly couch surfing. They highly recommended it and now that I've got so much flexibility with work I want to travel as much as possible and meet people who have got amazing experiences to share and people who know a lot about the cities they live in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music and listen to sooo many different artists and genres on a daily basis.

It's quite funny how my mood and how I'm feeling subconsciously effects what music I feel like listening to.

I listen to a lot of acoustic and folk music at night time or on rainy days or just when I want to chill or if I'm feeling bit flat.

If it's sunny and I'm feeling lively and on top of the world, I tend to listen to modern reggae and dub.

If I'm in a party mood then the dance and electronic music comes out. Love drum and bass and house music, but listen to a lot of different genres and subgenres, too many to think about!

Rock, metal, pop punk and indie rock was a huge part of my teenage years, so I do listen to this a lot at random times! Real live music will always own a huge part of my heart!

I don't read much, although I know I should read more! I just spend all my time doing outdoor stuff if I'm not working and then in the evening I like to chill out listening to or writing music. I do love Harry Potter though and have read them too many times!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience of my life so far was the 5 months I spent in the French Alps snow bumming the 2017-18 season! I met sooo many incredible people, many of which are now friends for life! I partied waaaay too much and somehow managed to fit in a whole season worth of Snowboarding. Heading back to Bourg Saint Maurice and Les Arcs for the 2018-19 season and can't wait!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm extremely open minded and always looking to learn from people and to learn about the world. I do however have no time for anyone who judges people based on race, nationality, gender etc. as I believe you should meet every new person with no prior judgements. I will always try and treat people how I would expect to be treated.

I value people based on how kind they are and how considerate they are etc. and not on how much they earn or any other superficial quality.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, experiences, great food and lots of conversation, whether educated or just silly chat! If staying in Pembrokeshire, I know sooo many beautiful places whether on the coast or inland. I also love to eat out, so know sooo many amazing cafes and restaurants serving local food and beers!

Countries I’ve Visited
