ABOUT ME

I am a thinker and an explorer looking to understand myself, the world, and how we fit together. New people and places are incredible chances to awaken from the sleepwalk of certainty. My goal is to be open to new things and have a richer life by becoming part of a bigger world.

Through a stroke of great fortune, I was sent to Salzburg, Austria to work on an open ended assignment. I will call Salzburg home for months or years. My German is not good, but I am looking forward to learning more so that I can relate better to people here. In the meantime I have been amazed at how well everyone speaks English and this has made things a little easier.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved to Europe and would probably not be a very good guide yet but want to meet people. My accomodations are limited for the moment but I should have a couch in a couple weeks and will be happy to share that with visitors. Other than that, I would be happy to provide advice and introductions to anyone going to one of the US cities that I know people in (New York, Chicago, Phoenix, St. Louis, and Atlanta).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new, but even in this short time I have met extremely interesting people who were generous with their time and knowledge.

Interests

In General: History, architecture, literature, writing, technology, coffee, weight lifting, long walks through old cities, and long deep conversation.

New Interests: Salsa dancing, skiing, and German language.
