At present we prefer our guests Friday to Sunday nightsd.

I am Dave and live with my civil partner Michael. Iam 55 and Michael is 37. We like to meet people and share our home with them. We have 2 cats, Oscar Wilde and Ellie of Aquitaine), who rarely meet the visitors. I like cinema theatre music reading and travelling. Michael will fill in his bit sometime.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to welcome people to Glasgow and hope that I can meet as many visitors to Glasgow as possible and give the information necessary to make their visit as good as possible. I also go to the city meetings along with Michael. Since I have been a member of couchsurfing I am amazed at the variety of people in Glasgow alone who are involved and the great rapport between them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a member of a similar Esperanto project called Pasporta Servo http://www.tejo.org/eo/ps_lingv_en) have stayed in Poland via this group and have had several visitors to my home. I regularly host people now I am happy to host if there is space to all those who have read my profile.

Interests

I like learning languages. I speak English fluently and have a good working knowledge of Esperanto and now I am learning French. I enjoy French movies culture and literature and want to experience it first hand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a 32 hour train journey from Scotland to Stockholm, Sweden via England, North Sea,Netherlands, Germany, Denmark. I looked up Lake Malaren as the train arrived in Stockholm. What a sight!
