CURRENT MISSION

To see the world (naturally :-)

In February 2017 my girlfriend and I have quit our jobs, sold everything and left Brisbane to travel around Australia in our 4WD with roof top tent for a few months or hopefully a year if depending on budget. We hope to free camp and couchsurf as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

Funny, relaxed and adventurous and well mannered. Well traveled and excited to be going around Australia by 4WD.

I have hosted the Brisbane Southbank couchsurfing BBQ every 2 weeks (without fail) for the last two years and in that time have literally met hundreds of couchsurfers. This has been a truely amazing life changing experience for me. Listening to thier travels and dreams has been a big inspiration to quit the corporate life for a while and live out of a car and travel Australia. It is also good preparation for repeating this on other conintents like a van through North America. My trusty British friend Chris now hosts the Brisbane BBQ's for me so it lives on. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed twice in Vietnam and a few times so far in Australia, I can't host at the moment as my home is a tent!

Interests

I like riding motorbikes (off road and on road), scuba diving, 4WDing and camping, and BBQ'S with friends. I enjoy reading about science and technology, business and economic news. I have travelled to all continents except Antarctica and hope to travel to as many countries as possible right up until my time is up on this planet or hopefully a chance at visiting Mars (seriously)
