About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Party with everyone from everwhere all over the place

ABOUT ME

I've always loved traveling, especially to different countries, but it was always "vacation". I got my first taste of solo travel in Spring of 2013 for three months and now I'm hooked. I'm a very social guy and I'm stoked to make new friends so backpacking around the world is the coolest thing I've ever done.

PHILOSOPHY

A few main concepts: 1) Life is fucking short. Tragically so. And that's even if you live a whole life and manage to avoid the proverbial bus that's running people over. There's no time to waste on bullshit and feeling bad or scared or embarrassed or anxious about anything. Not a month, not a week, not a day. Which leads to... 2) Anything other than positivity and optimism is a complete waste of time. We get to choose our outlook and nothing awesome ever happens if we're negative and pessimistic and cynical. Ren and Stimpy nailed it... Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't, yet! I'd like to start hosting between now and my next big trip in September. Hopefully I can convince my roomie that letting strangers stay in our house for a couple nights is a totally awesome thing and not sketchy!! haha

Interests

Aside from the obvious interest in travelling and meeting people, I'm terrible at both surfing and yoga but I love them dearly. I also love music in all it's forms (except country music which is terrible). I'm a secret super-nerd and I love astronomy and space travel and artificial intelligence and can geek out on that shit for hours.
