Hey !! I am Diego, i am from Bogotá, Colombia ... In my life i have been blessed with being able to travel around the world, but usually has been in hotels ... But as i grow old, i have changed my perspective about how to live and have realized that creating a connection is people is what makes me feel fulfilled, so i am joining this network, to open the door of my house to people all over the world, and hopefully making friends wherever i go!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After being able to visit a few countries in South America, i have realized that is not the same visiting a hotel in a city and visiting the touristic places, than going and staying with locals, that can show you a different and more realistic experience of what is like the live in each city. When you are able to share the experience of visiting a new place and seeing it from another point of view, it makes a better experience!

My next trip will be to Europe, where i have never been before, so i am very excited and i am looking for to have the couchsurfing experience to get to new places, make new friends and learn how to move across the continent. Its my next big adventure, so it would be amazing if we could meet along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i went to Coachella in Indio, California, and because we got the tickets too late, i had to sleep 3 days on my friends car to enjoy the festival. I had to take showers on the festivals parking lot, fully naked, but it was 100% worth it.!!!

I can teach you how to DJ. I love cooking so i can make breakfasts or lunch or dinner. I can speak spanish, portuguese and english, so if you need to practice any language feel welcome to do it with me.
