Just a normal guy living in Cape Town. Enjoy my job mostly, volunteer firefighter every now and again. Love the outdoors, hiking, swimming, trail and road running. getting back into cycling and squash. Ultimately looking to volunteer in disaster relief efforts around the world. If I can make that my career so much the better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know how expensive travelling can be and have a massively comfy three seater couch that isn't used terribly much so why not. Also have the perk of meeting new and interesting people.

I signed up to couch surfing ages ago but life got a bit crazy for 2 years so didn't surf or host at all. I've just bought my own place in the last few months so thought I'd try again :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bribed a police officer with a pie once... not that he needed bribing, he was checking my licence (perfectly legal) really late one night and looked hungry, I had an extra pie... but I have a cool story... right...?
