Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At home i volunteer in my free time, its much more interesting than it sounds, but I wont tell here. Leave some to talk..

Oh couch surfing participate?

Ive never surfed before, but I have this opportunity to travel for work that I can't pass up.

I've travelled once so far to BC and made a new friend from Germany who came along for a 6 day long, one thousand km trip around vancouver island. We stayed at hostelling international in a few different locations along the way n picked up/made friends with some hitch-hikers who also stayed with us.. (at Hostels not couches)

Next, I was in East Coast Canada (Moncton to be specific) and I met/made friends with a girl from Victoria, BC. I told her of my mission across Canada and we ended up meeting two weeks later on the opposite coast and travelling together for a week to Yukon and Alaska. Again it was so much fun, very beautiful sights and happy to have someone to travel with..

Next I went to Newfoundland, what a bunch of crazy Newfies.. lol.. I had such a good time. Stayed in a few hostels. Made some new friends.

After that Saskatchewan, also Manitoba. Not many hostels in central Canada, so I shacked up in a few motels. Met less people but enjoyed driving in the Praries.

Montreal... OMG Motreal was sweet, wicked hostels, right price, made tons of new friends international, canadian, french, english etc.. Definitely go back.

Then Edmonton Calgary, which Just ended up in Jasper Banff.. What a wicked part of the Country! Snowboarding and Hot Springs and real party central. Lots of wicked hostels too and tons of new friends to make. International, canadian, etc...

Right now I'm back in Ontario for my last year of school. London is an alright place. University of Western Ontario etc.. Close to Toronto also.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am always more than happy to acquire passegers along the way. If youre down for a few days driving and sights.

I plan to take several trips one week at a time, Through BC (done once, but again november), Alaska (Aug 7-14) East Coast (July 17-24), Motreal (October/Halloween), Newfoundland October 29), Edmonton Jasper Calgary Banff.. Please inquire about joining along..

Interests

I love listening to music (rock and roll mostly, but some house/electronic), talking common sense and sharing ideas with like minds. I like driving.. Local scenes is my main objective for these trips, restaurants, coffee shops, sights to see, people to meet. Hostelling International..
