I am a 26 old queer woman living in Asheville, North Carolina. I am in love with my kitten
(soon to be cat) named Lentil. I studied Sociology and Spanish in university, and am now in an existential phase of life trying to decide what to do next. In the meantime I am farming, doing childcare, and involved in mutual aid efforts in Asheville. In my free time, I can be found gardening, sharing yummy meals, reading, rollerskating, doing fiber crafts, and submerging in cold streams.

I can't host very much right now, but when I can, I will prioritize queer, trans, and nonbinary people as well as BIPOC and women. I have felt unsafe staying with stranger cis men before and I would like to be able to help folks in similar situation avoid discomfort!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I've been privileged to travel a lot and some of the most meaningful experiences I've had have been connecting with local people thru couchsurfing. As much as I value sites and museums and food, it is the people that make a place. I believe that as humans, we should share as much as we can with each other, and I think couch surfing can be a great example of that practice.

I spend a lot of time in contemplation. Meditation and mindfulness are important to me, and I appreciate anything that makes me feel present in my body. I love the mountains and trails of Western North Carolina, and the past couple years have gotten more into backpacking. I appreciate arts and music, and try to show up for the creatives here in my community in Asheville. I read a lot, especially with an aim to dismantle a lot of what I have internalized around race/gender/class. I love spending one on one time with people and being in deep relationship.
