Overview
About Me
I'm a book nerd by nature and I love to learn. I enjoy talking to people and learning about their worldviews as well as anything else they are willing to share with me. I embrace differences and actively seek it. I love to be outdoors. I get up early every morning and run along a lake; Running is my coffee and keeps me sane. I kayak whenever I have a chance, and I love to spend time playing with my dog. I will be travelling to Budapset and Hungary and cannot wait.
I'm a medical student and hope to work in rural communities increasing equity in healthcare among rural populations. I completed my Bachelors at Virginia Tech and my Masters at Eastern Mennonite University. I've spent most of my adult life studying in rural areas and would like to spend my life living in the mountains.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn more about the people and communities around me. Having been in school for so long, I haven't had a lot of opportunities to explore the U.S. and CS makes it easier. Working in healthcare exposes you to people who have different beliefs and perspectives on life. I want to expose myself to the diversity that exists.
