About Me
I'm David, part Hungarian, part German long-time student (:D). My everlasting love and longing for the sea has pushed me to my current studies of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. My best experiences I all got connected to the seven seas and sailing. Now, that my hairline is gradually retreating and the occasional hangovers turn into double and triple hangovers, I enjoy daytime activities and exploring more then partying. Don't get me wrong though, I never say no to a beer (or seventeen).
I consider myself to be openminded, understanding and very persistent for the right cause! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have to admit, I'm here out of desperation! I'm doing Erasmus in Lisboa, and just can't find a place to live, my airbnb runs out and then I'm hopelessly homeless... So I'm hoping this community will take me in and help me! :)
But of course I absolutely love getting to know new people, new places, new experiences and I'm very excited about finding something here!

Music, Movies, and Books
Complicated question!!
I'm not really picky when it comes to music, I'm not excluding any genres, it has to be good though... :)
I won't be able to list favourite movies either, but Christopher Nolan, Guy Ritchie, Quentin Tarantino, The COen Brothers and Wes Anderson almost always hit the sweet spot!
Sadly, I don't read as much I'd love to. I am a big fan of Kurt Vonnegut though, I like Nesbö, and of course The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter on the fantasy front.
