About Me

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m a big opera fan and attend the Metropolitan Opera regularly. I don’t go to the movies that often and am focused on grad school instead of pleasure reading, to be honest.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied abroad in South Africa and had a powerful experience there which led me to pursue urban planning as a career. I spent time in the cities and countryside, hiked the Otter Trail, saw ancient cave paintings, went on safari and so much more.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to use public transportation to get around New York City, including the subway and bus systems. I can tell you about the opera and be your guide to the Met, one of the greatest opera houses in the world. I speak English and some Spanish and enjoy learning other languages.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy a good conversation, I’m curious, empathetic, and have a great sense of humor. I'm happy to help in the garden, reach the tall things on the shelf, join you on the slopes or pet your dog. 🐶
