I'm 26 years old. I have spent the last year living in Korea and traveling through India. I love writing, reading, soccer, traveling, conversations (about most anything but especially books, movies, soccer and art) and snowboarding. On my way home from Asia, I want to see some bits of my own country that I've never been able to before. I'm new to couch surfing but I've heard good things from people I've met in both India and Korea. I'm hoping it'll be good for me and that I can contribute as well. I look forward to meeting whoever happens to cross my path.

I've heard a lot of positive experiences with couch surfing with travelers in India and Thailand, as well as other English teachers in Korea. Staying with someone who understands the area and has a travelers' open mindset sounds like the best possible way to see any city. And I'd be lying if I said I could afford to travel very long in the states by staying in hotels, especially since my flight lands in LA.
