I grew up in Cologne, Germany but moved to the UK for my studies, and have lived there since. I'd describe myself as outgoing, and easy to talk to. I enjoy being around loads of people, but am also very capable of keeping myself entertained. I'm generally curious about everything, including other cultures and people's lives and my interests span many categories, meaning I'm rarely bored of conversation!

I'm very interested in learning about different people, and other cultures, and am happy to talk about my own background over some beers and something to smoke ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently quit my job to go travelling, and feel like couch surfing is a great way to meet people and discover places whilst I'm away!.. the less I know about a place, the more I want to visit it!!

I think that the best way to get to know a place, and to gain an understanding of the people you have to be shown around by someone who lives there; CS is the perfect way to do this!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: There's very little I don't like, and love being introduced to new things!

Books: A short history of nearly everything (Bill Bryson), Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance (Robert Pirsig), Human Universe (Brian Cox), Cosmos (Carl Sagan) .... basically anything factual and well-written. I'm open to suggestions :)

Traveled the length of Cambodia and Laos on a 110cc motorbike
