I grew up in Connecticut, but I went to school near Philadelphia and studied abroad in Australia and Spain. After school, I traveled through much of Latin America. I'd love to get to know the US better. It's weird when you've been to more countries than you have states in your own country.

I've always found people that travel to be the most friendly and fun people. My dad is from Italy and that was my first big trip. Since then, I've tried to travel somewhere far away and experienced something different every year. It's amazing to make new friends and learn from people from all over the world.

I took a criminal justice course in a Philadelphia prison. The class was half university students and half inmates. I was able to understand the issues in a much different way than a traditional course.
