About Me
I just turned thirty and would like to do more travelling. I bought a bike a little over a year ago and just this summer drove it to NYC and back. I love Toronto and am always down to walk around and explore, be it either on foot, TTC or via motorcycle (I've got a spare helmet!) I also enjoy camping, sports, tv/movies, theatre, ice cream, and of course food. And beer. I've been a resident of TO for about 7 years total, and can show you around pretty well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel and meet new people. I revently went to NYC for a week and had a great time. I dont really have room in my place for anyone but am able to show anyone new to the city their way around, or just chill and have a bite to eat somewhere.
When I'm away from home, my idea of a good trip is to take my time and just kind of wander. Eat the local food, find cool places, and just kind of "absorb."
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies; top three favourites are:
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Terminator 2
Life Aquatic
Books:
Probably Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a bike and drove it to NYC for a week. It was an absolutely awesome experience. Hopefully either next year or the one following, I'd like to take it across Canada and down the west coast.
Teach, Learn, Share
Food, drinks, movies, summer fun, frisbee in the park, street meet, Muay Thai, ice cream, and of course my motorcycle.
I'm a huge film/TV buff. I can talk about either all night. I'm also a theatre grad with a BFA from the U of Windsor. Ask me about my trip! Or anything about TO as I love the city and am always looking to learn more. I know most areas of the city and can point you in any direction you want to go... be it restaurants, beaches, high park, or the clubbing district.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A quiet, laid back disposition who is friendly and always willing to talk. I won't be intrusive and will offer whatever help I can in gratitude of your hospitality.
