About Me

I'm a coach, author and motivational speaker. I grew up in Toronto, Canada and moved out to British Columbia in my 20's. I lived on a sailboat for a while, but eventually got restless, became a SCUBA instructor and set out to travel the world. After diving in the Red Sea, I headed up to Israel and never left... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't travel a whole lot, but when I do I love to meet new people. This community seems like an awesome way to meet people, see new places and make new friends. Super excited!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once traded my bicycle for an old motorcycle, fixed it up and rode 3000 miles across Canada on back-roads, without a license.
Once, I ran out of gas in the middle of the night and coasted on fumes into a gas station...only to discover it was a filling station for trucks (ie. the trucks that fill up the gas stations with gas!). Then a huge gas truck drove in, opened the tap on his truck and filled up a huge white bucket with gas, that he then proceeded to dump into my tank, spilling gas everywhere in the process.
Then, we shared a couple shots of Southern Comfort and both drove out into the night in opposite directions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that the greatest problem we face today is that too many of us don't believe in ourselves and, because of it, we aren't following their dreams.
But the more we can help inspire each other to discover our own greatness, the more inspired we will be to pursue our dreams. That's what our world needs more and more people following their hearts, pursuing their dreams and living life, inspired....now THAT's what I'm talking about!!!
