Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that it is a great alternative to the usual way of traveling, a great opportunity to meet people and enjoy a stay somewhere else.

I can enjoy and discover a new place through the prism of a local when travelling and, as host, I can welcome people, share a slice of life.

Also happy to accomodate last minute requests and help people in need if I can.

I absolutely love music and have been to more gigs than I can count…
Definitely more into the metal/rock/blues scenes but equally love trad, folk, classical, Opera…Anything made by artists, really!

Haven’t been reading that much lately but am into SF mostly

I do enjoy a good movie, rather into something out of the blue from a “niche” producer; but also appreciate the occasional blockbuster

I am a former reseacher, so I know my way around Science and specifically around medical biology.

I am native in French, and fluent in German and English, and I can speak some Spanish.

Happy to share my love for music, my enthusiasm for photography and hikink/backpacking, and my cooking skills.

I can tell you about my different experiences (to the meaning of life it will remain 42 😉), and am also a keen ear and attentive listener.
I can cook a nice meal according to what ever ingredients are thrown at me, brag about Belgian beer, share some chocolate ( if I have some)…
