About Me

I spent my childhood split between Colorado, USA and Beijing, China, and now call Indiana, USA home. Because I've mostly travelled in Asia and North America this summer I'm visiting friends and exploring new places (to me) across Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'd rather meet people and explore the hidden gems and off the beaten path destinations than stick to the well-travelled highways and tourist hangouts. I also love hosting and showing off the places I've found to friends and acquaintances and I'm looking forward to extending that to couchsurfers as well!

Interests

I'm passionate about typography, design, books, music, hiking, the Colorado rockies. I like flowering trees spilling out of narrow alleys, sunshine & salty breezes, challenging problems to solve, canoeing down clean rivers, and the feeling of discovering new favorite artists, musicians and authors. I dislike the feeling sodas leave on your teeth after you drink them, objects without substance and weight, sloppy craftsmanship, and plans that get cancelled at the very last minute.
