About Me

I've got all my worldly possessions on my back and I'm looking to find more of my people; anyone open minded who believes in harmony really. I have such a large travelling family already, but more the merrier. I love to travel and meet people, while making BC the base camp for my starstuff (for now anyway). Heard about CS from a traveler i sheltered and am excited to see where life goes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cool way to meet people and find a pillow, and i imagine this is a much better way to get to new people and places better than just showing up of the bus in a new place... although that works too- trust me.

Interests

Conservation, outdoors (camping, hiking, beaches n bonfires), nutrition (when i can), gardening, coffee, 420, recent vegetarian, choose to be alcohol free (generally), music festivals; happy shambhala!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately been really into Mother Mother. Also into Walk Off The Earth, The Trews, Passenger, Marley, Snoop Lion...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two come to mind.

First: Reaching the top of Mount Maxwell on a beautiful sunny day after a struggle with my pack. Sitting off in the distance a whole range of mountains apparently floating in the sky, with clouds at the base and more mountains below. Then looking out on the sea dotted with the islands of the archipelago. Looking down further and seeing the pirate boats anchored in the bay with a beach that I just had to get to. Had my lunch there before blazing my own trail straight down to that beach.

Another was on a high density apple orchard, thumbs raw, sweating from the desert heat. A glimmer of sun shone through the trees. Looking through I can see the shale mountains dotted with ever greens. In the foreground the leaves of the trees darker shade on the top side, with the third shade of green from the immature apple clusters trying to hide against the leaves. Looking to my left towards the start of the row the fourth and fifth shades green from the weedy grass between the rows and the brown from the soil under the trees dotted with the thinned apples of my labor. Looking right towards the work still needing to be done, again the green grass and brown soil but no thinned apples - I'm half way. Look back again at the work completed for motivation before continuing to thin the apples... just awesomely picturesque!

Teach, Learn, Share

We are all students/classmates(doers)/teachers of each other. Treat others the way you WISH (not have been) treated or else it'll come back on you. Thoughts precede matter, and words give them power, so bee careful what you wish for.
