I attended the California Institute of the Arts for Experimental Animation. During my second semester, I was invited to join the crew of Mark Osborn’s stop-motion animated short film, “MORE”, as lead animator, prop and set fabricator. After winning at Sundance Film Festival, “MORE” was nominated for an Academy Award. “Mum”, another film David animated while at Cal Arts, also won many awards, including Sundance Best Animated Short.

After graduation, I worked on numerous projects, for film, television and the internet. Some of MY clients have included LAIKA, MTV, Nickelodeon, Disney, Chiodo Bros, Buddysystem studios, David Lynch, Eli Roth, Mike Mitchel, and Terry Rossio.

Always looking for new knowledge, I attended The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, pursuing a Masters degree in Fashion design and Fiber and Material studies. My numerous skills include animation fabrication, small and large-scale puppet and armature design and fabrication, set, costume and prop fabrication and cable controlled animatronics. For the past years I have been an ESL teacher , traveling all over the world as a volunteer, living in Prague, Romania, Germany, Colombia, Panama and Peru.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am moonlighting as a costume fabricator, for a bit in Californbia, before I leave for Mexico in January.

I love creating costumes and puppets, i havent owned a car in 5 years and walk or ride bikes every where!!
