About Me
[I am presently traveling and can not host until I return Home to Canada]
[Also, I have to say something about the first review I got here, in Basel Switzerland from Christoph. I have 9 trade licenses, because me and my brother subdivided and built hundreds of houses and we can do all of the work ourselves. One of my licenses is a Class 1 Septic License because we are not inside the city, every house has a water well and a septic tank and a leach field to collect and treat the waste water on site. In the course to get this license you will learn all about sanitation, parasites, bacteria and pathogens. You will also learn how to be sterile. Very sterile (clean and bacteria free) and also odor free, we have to and it is a part of the training to get this license. Because of this knowledge I am able to be clean, sterile and odor free with using only a very little amount of water. Na-H-CO3 (Sodium Bicarbonate) is an astringent and it kills bacteria on contact. We use it if we need to enter a septic tank because it kills bacteria and odor causing bacteria on contact, and I use it on my body with a damp cloth and also I brush my teeth with it. It can be purchased in a pharmacy.
Anyway, Christoph was raised to believe that he needs to shower every day and many people, once they learn something of the world, may not ever change their view. At the same time though, when Christoph went out during the day and it was a warm day he would return to the house with the smell from armpits that people get when they sweat, while I never have foul odors coming from me: ever, because I know what they are and how to be sterile and clean. That is all, and I need to say this because of the review he wrote. I don't think anyone would want to stay with someone who has a lifestyle that is dirty, which, I do not have, I am more sterile and fresh than most people, even those people who DO shower every day :) ]
Small town boy from the countryside outside Ottawa, Canada. Have travelled much and learned more. I have 9 trade licenses and was grandfathered as a P.E. Energy Specialist in 1996 after 18 years work in several fields including Geothermal HVAC-R systems. I have built hundreds of single family homes in Canada and some commercial buildings too. I can also play guitar, bass and harmonica.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music is that which people make with me or in my presence. I took guitar lessons at 10 and can play guitar, bass guitar and harmonica.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The extreme (illegal) climb to the Great Wall. It is nearly vertical, and I went with a group from the hostel I was staying at in Beijing. They had already planned the trip and invited me at the last minute, so, I went. People have died making this climb and the Chinese don't like sending rescue to this area, because rescue has to occur with a helicopter, and therefore it is technically illegal, even while people know about it and keep doing it.
The view once we reached the top was stunning. Just.Stunning. From that point one can easily understand why that climb was so valuable :) :) :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Knowledge is Power. Not my own words, if I were to use my own words to describe myself that would be disingenuous, and so I will never do this. What I do have are the words that others have used to describe me in their presence, and of this I have many words to use :)
