Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurer at heart. Have travelled to countries in North America, South America, Central America, Europe, Middle East, and the Pacific islands.
I have enjoyed several hobbies, but only one or two at a time. I tend to go all out with a hobby till I'm burned out by it and then try something else. These include drawing, woodworking, birdwatching, baking, rubix cube solving, and Sudoko. I'm also deeply interested in history, most recently focusing on topics such as Roman history, WWII history and the American space program.
One of my job titles is Director at a summer day camp near Asheville, NC. This camp essentially provides cheap day care with all sorts of fun for kids in our community. It's absolutely a blast and absolutely exhausting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is: Contemporary Christian, 50's music, folk and Bluegrass and male a cappella groups. Honestly, I like playing the guitar and singing more than listening to music. I guess I like the sound of my own voice more than anybody else's . Hmmmm. Need to think about that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won a talent show for a song I wrote and performed.
What I Can Share with Hosts
