I'm a straight single guy with no children living in Bingil Bay just 5 minutes drive north of Mission Beach on the coast of Far North Queensland. Full-time employed in the government sector. Social drinker only, non smoker and not into drugs including "420". I'm friendly and a good host and would want my guest(s) to have an enjoyable stay as they travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Suggested to try it so here I am. Being fully honest to potentially meet a nice girl and enjoy each others company as I moved here for work this year and apart from colleagues have no other friends outside of that as my circle of friends is now farther away.

Would prefer to host people who are not into drugs or other illicit activity, are clean and respectful. Smokers are fine however smoking indoors I wouldn't allow. People with a good sense of humour and want to have fun are keenly encouraged.

My work keeps me busy and sometimes away from home so the place is not always going to be available.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into a wide variety of music and only recently discovered the joy of netflix lol i just never spend huge amounts of time watching TV but COVID sort of pushed that issue. I do not read much in the way of books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba Diving, I put it off for so long and when I finally did it and attained my advanced open water qualification I have never looked back. I love that feeling just the serene relaxation of seeing life under the water. Just wish it was a cheaper hobby.

Teach, Learn, Share

Through sharing I guess we would both teach and learn something of value, just depends what it is.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a nice tidy home which I rent in a quiet neighbourhood that is very close to the beach at Bingil Bay and short drive to the various places around Mission Beach. Have a couch with a fold out bed, access to shower, kitchen etc. Can be preferable to staying in a carpark in a camper.
