About Me
David is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with a pre-health emphasis and a minor in psychology.
Growing up David saw his mom love her work as she saved lives. He enjoyed hearing the miraculous life changing stories about the patients and families which were admitted into the hospital. He began to understand how all of the departments work together as one giant unit to provide a wonderful service to society at large.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books a huge part of my life and would love to tell my intellectual journey!
I started my journey around the age of 13 by asking the question what makes it so that one person becomes successful and another does not. At that age I thought success was defined as earning potential and asset management. So I began learning about personal finance and investing beginning with James Allen, George Clason, Thomas Stanley, Warren Buffet, and Dave Ramsey. Though money management is an important aspect of life it felt trite to say that this is the barometer for success.
As I entered into high school the question shifted to simply what makes someone a good person? I began to explore the Holy books of many religions (Tao Te Ching, Quaran, The Old and New Testament, bahai manuscripts, the list goes on) and a bunch of self-help authors: Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, and Darren Hardy, Napoleon Hill and of course Steven Covey.
I soon discovered the Great Books of the Western World and 52 volume encyclopedia priced at $1,600 composed of some of the most influential minds on Western Society; I knew deep down that I really needed. So I began doing jobs for neighbors cutting grass and the like and along the way I ended up finding a small bookstore that was closing in Mississippi and they sold me the entire set for $350. I was beaming when they arrived. It is in my opinion the the reading Hutchins essay, "The Great Conversation" be required reading for all individuals entering undergraduate.
This formed the basis of my library as I entered into University. My additions have been much more specific, centered around my studies towards physical therapy and behavior analytics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once lived with a Navajo indian family on the floor of their "Hogan" the traditional Navajo home.

An excerpt from Epictetus, "The Art of Living."
"Know first who you are and what you're capable of. Just as nothing great is created tentatively, the same goes for the perfecting of our talents and aptitude. We are always learning, always growing. It is right to accept challenges. This is how we progress to the next level of intellectual, physical, or moral development. Still, don't kid yourself: if you try to be something or someone you are not, you belittle your true self and end up not developing in those areas that you would have excelled at quite naturally.
Within the divine order, we each have our own special calling. Listen to your and follow it faithfully. "
"Caretake this moment. Immerse yourself in its particulars. Respond to this person, this challenge, this deed. Quit the evasions. Stop giving yourself needless trouble.
It is time to really live; to fully inhabit the situation you happen to be in now. You are not some disinterested bystander. Participate. Exert yourself.
Respect your partnership with providence. Ask yourself often, How may I perform this particular deed such that it would be consistent with and acceptable to the divine will? Heed the answer and get to work.
When your doors are shut and your room is dark, you are not alone. The will of nature is within you as your natural genius is within. Listen to its importunings. Follow its directives.
As concerns the art of living, the material is your own life. No great thing is created suddenly. There must be time.
Give your best and always be kind.

Good conversation. If you are at all interested in what living in Los Angeles is like then I am someone to talk to. One of my favorite things to do is to explore city culture and LA provides an endless supply of intriguing events and faces.
