Divorced,sold up EVERYTHING except my motorbike and a few precious bits and bobs in storage.
Decided to try a new way of living,on the road,travelling the world by various means but mainly by motorbike.

My grown up independent children,and one grandchild,live in the Lake District so I'm often in the area visiting them.
I'm of the "only here once" school of thought,had the flashy soul destroying careers,nice houses,"stuff" but now happier than I've been in a long time.
I travel light,move around regularly,love meeting new faces in new places.
I'm not "lucky", it took effort and a lot of soul searching to gain my lifestyle and give up the ratrace. Problem is,if you win that race you're just the top rat!

I have a very non P.C. sense of humour/attitude and love to laugh,have fun,listen to music,read,watch a movie,cook,and eat.
Sorry,but until I settle down again,if ever I do,I cannot offer accommodation as I have none.
I do have an enhanced Police Criminal Records Certificate with me (NO criminal record!) and a written personal reference from my last employer,Creative Support,where I worked as a Senior Forensic Support Worker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people,exchange ideas/info.and gain accommodation with like minded people who "understand" travelling.
