About Me

I'm 22 years old and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. I will be coming to Europe for the next several months for study and travel. I will be studying in Milan, Italy and travelling before, during and afterwards. I have a great passion for travel and adventure, in all it's weird and wild forms, and am looking forward to the meeting new and exciting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love that it encourages new experiences and the ability it affords to meet real locals rather than just skim the touristy surface of a city.

Coming from a large family i know what a joy a fusion of different personalities and opinions can be like , so i enjoy the idea of being able to meet with new and challenging people.

I started couch surfing as I thought it would be a great way to learn more about the places i was visiting. I've only heard from friends of mine stories of really great experiences. Stories about meeting really fun people and staying in some great places. In my view there's no better way to learn about a new city than from it's locals so I plan to happily continue to travel this way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite type of music is rock. From 'old style rock n roll' to new 'Aussie surf rock'. I enjoy all music genres and often to listen to a variety of music constantly.

I'm a huge fan of movies and can regularly be found watching one. Some of my favourite movies are 'Amelie', 'Good Will Hunting' and 'Pan's Labyrinth'. My favourite genres of film are Drama, Thriller or Horror.

My favourite novel is 'On the Road'.

Teach, Learn, Share

All about Australian culture . I think I know Melbourne and the area surrounding well enough to really show someone what they have travelled there for. I hope people that I surf with can do the same for me :)

Willing to learn anything about the way people live their lives in other parts of the world, especially what home life is like and the different food too...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love good conversations and live for brilliant humour. So you can be promised an enthusiastic chatter and listener!

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, England, France, Indonesia, Italy, New Zealand, Peru
