Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in Couchsurfing because I like travelling to different places and different countries but I don't like feeling like a tourist. When I go somewhere new I worry about whether I'm really getting the authentic experience or whether I'm being sucked into "tourist traps" and not getting a good feel for my environment. That's why I think Couchsurfing is such an attractive idea, because the host always lives in the place you're visiting and can lead you to beautiful sights, good food, and a great experience overall!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share knowledge of American politics and pop culture, and I can cook some things (but not everything!) and buy dinner for my host. I can tidy up the living space and vacuum and generally be a very good and responsible guest. As a photo lover I can also give copies of my photos to my host after my trip is over.
