About Me

I am a student studying accounting in Utah. Within the past few years, I have picked up the 'yolo' fever and have decided I want to see the world while I'm young and free! I have lived in the Philippines, Ghana and have loved traveling to learn new cultures and meet new friends! I love sports, and being outdoors doing activities with friends. I love exploring the road less traveled and finding those hidden gems!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have realized that one of the most important thing I have seen in my travels is that the relationships and friendships you create are often much longer lasting than the memories of the places you have visited. And the people are more fun too! I am on couches urged to open doors to travel, meet people, and to learn all that the world has to offer.

Interests

Sports, any sport. Traveling and learning new cultures. I love scuba diving and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very open minded when it comes to music and can appreciate talent. I don't like the music that is computer altered to the max. Original acoustics would be my favorite.

Can't turn down an action picked movie and I can't watch the scary movies. (Not because I'm scared, just because I believe they are a waste of time and you don't get any satisfaction out of it in the end.)

I love a good book, recently I have been reading more self help books with a lot of internal deeper thinking. I like to discover more about myself and things that encourage good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ran 3 full marathons now with plans of doing one more. Then I'm done haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent two years teaching people in the Philippines. I then took up business as my studies and decided to move to both Ghana and back to the Philippines for three months each to teach the business principles to the struggling business men and women In Those countries.
I desire to continually learn from other's life experiences and teach from my life experiences as long as I live. We can all learn from the past and history of others and move forward with a brighter future from learning and teaching each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My experiences and advice about the countries I have visited and share my different outlook and perspective on life.
