Hello there :)! We are Kantati (33 he/him) and Toni 🐶 (1.5 years old)

First of all... this is a lgbtiqa+ and bipoc safe(r)space. 🏳️‍🌈

there is NO SPACE for homophobia, transphobia, machoism, racism and basically all other forms of discrimination. conservative, ignorant and right wing ideologies are not welcome in this household! :)

CURRENT MISSION

i've lived in peru for a year now. mainly in arequipa but now i moved to puno for the final stretch of my stay here. in october i will return to europe.
i took the decision to move to peru because i'm also peruvian and i wanted to connect a little more to my roots and family as i grew up mainly in austria and never got the chance to live in my other home :)
so yeah! that's my current mission.

also i'm really trying my best to train toni to hopefully become a therapy dog -> i adopted him as a 6 month old streetdog - puppy in chachapoyas! ever since he has been joining me on my adventures.

ABOUT US

so i am kantati and i belong to an indigenous ethnic group called the aymara people who mainly live in the border region of peru and bolivia :)

i am a social worker and musician. i love to provide a home and saferspace for people and ask questions. i am pretty open with personal experiences that i had and am generally happy to share and talk about them. of course i accept boundaries and would never expect these kind of talks :)

toni is young and has an endless amount of energy. i have yet to see him drained haha. i am walking him a lot and try to stimulate him as good as i can mentally and physically.

one thing you should know is that toni will be jumping on you in the first couple minutes haha he LOVES people soooo much and so far i haven't been able to consistently stop him from doing that. in general he is suuuper calm and extremely cuddly. just a cutie :)

i live a very simple but fullfilling life trying to be centered and calm.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Throughout the years i travelled a lot and used couchsurfing as a tool to meet people and stay with locals.
especially the last year i've been hosting a lot of people together with my then- partner and it was just sooo amazing who i was able to meet. maybe you are the next person :))

whenever i have my own place i always try to give back to the community and hope to host cute and interested people :)

Zainteresowania

i would call myself a rabbit- hole person jaja. meaning that if i get into things i REALLY get into it. right now i have been really obsessed with dog education dog psychology and so on. also anthropology and history of peru. mainly because in the last couple of months i wrote an entire game based on the tawantinsuyu (inca empire) 😂😂😂😂 SO MUCH WORK... happy to tell you about it.

i feel very connected to nature 🤎

in august i got back into swimming and have done so almost daily :)

Muzyka, filmy i książki

actually i recently got back into watching shows and movies.
and listening to music! right now i kind of am transitioning from a neo - soul and afrobeat phase (also a little bit of raggaeton) to a soul and funk phase while also trying to explore peruvian music a little haha
also i am in the process of mixing my album. happy to share with you :)

aaaaaalso i am trying to find good spanish literature to further improve my spanish. not a big reader though. trying to be haha

i saw humpback wales from close range and (while filming) drowned a drone in the pacific ocean thinking i could land it back on the (moving) boat. i'll never forget the beeping sound the control made when the signal was cut.... R.I.P. Glidy 2023 - 2023 ✝️ *beep beep*

i freedived in indonesia and the philippines (yes i'm also a freediver haha)

i hitchhiked from peru to the north of ecuador without any money playing music in the streets and living on the beach. without tent - it was rough - especially the rainy nights as i had to build an improvised roof with wood and a plastic that i found on the beach (it obviously had holes) check my fotos for a glimpse jaja

and a lot more.
