Hello! We are David (33 he/him) and Vanessa (23 she/her)! (and toni and lima 🐶)

First of all... this is a lgbtiqa+ and bipoc safespace. 🏳️‍🌈

there is NO SPACE for homophobia, transphobia, machoism, racism and basically all other forms of discrimination. conservative, ignorant and right wing ideologies are not welcome in this household! :)

CURRENT MISSION

right now we live in arequipa, peru together with our two dogs toni and lima :)
our main mission is to train them to hopefully become super cute therapy dogs. they are both puppies so it is a lot of work :)
other than that we are trying to find a job and work on our future path. we will stay in peru at least until october. mainly because david is peruvian and wants to spend some time close to his family and explore his roots.

ABOUT US

Big News! In january we finished our bachelor- degrees so we are officially social workers :)

We always try to be easy going and chill people. we enjoy (making) music and recently bought a nintendo switch wich has been way more fun (especially with guests ;) ) than we imagined. we enjoy having our private time in our little bubble very much but sitting together in the evening and just talking and sharing experiences is what really fills our hearts with joy these days.
right now our life is very simple. but very beautiful. we feel very privileged for the opportunity to live here in peru and we try to make the most of it in regards of personal growth.

we've been in southamerica since may. first travelling colombia (vanessa is colombian) and since august we live in peru.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last year we travelled a lot and used Couchsurfing as a tool to meet people and stay with locals.
Now that we have our own place we obviously will give back to the community and hope to host cute and interested people :)

Interests

we would call ourselves rabbit- hole people jaja. meaning that if we get into things we REALLY get into it. right now we have been really obsessed with dog education dog psychology and so on. also david has been getting back into dungeons and dragons and vanessa loves enjoying the chill side of life.

recently we also have been watching a lot of movies and shows at night.

we are also starting to think of hairstyles for toni because it is actually about to get messy... .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

we didn't kill each other yet.... so that's an achievement :)

we adopted a peruvian street dog and a peruvian rescue dog!

we did a social work internship in peru <3

we saw humpback wales from close range and david drowned vanessas drone in the pacific trying to film them (the shot WAS amazing though).
