New to couchsurfing! I've been bouncing around a lot the past few years, from New York to the Bay Area and some places in between. I've worked for a few environmentally focused non-profits and spent a year on small farm, but now am excited to do a bit of traveling again while I figure out what's next.

I like running around outside, climbing things, swimming, hiking, getting on top of very tall places, interesting encounters with wildlife; these are a few of my favorite things. I've also lived in New York City and just outside San Francisco, so I like city stuff too. Museums and exhibits are pretty great, I love a good party and seeing live music is always a pleasure.

I have a lot of friends who've used couchsurfing extensively all over the world, and it's always been something I've wanted to do. One day I hope to be able to host travelers as well, to pay it forward for all the times I've been hosted or helped out when I've been traveling.

I'm in it for the laughs and weird times but I really just like meeting people, everybody's got something new in their perspective to appreciate and learn from. I always find myself walking around aimlessly in new cities I come to, seems to me the best way to get acclimated to a place, and just strolling around with an open mind often leads to unexpected adventures.

Being outside in open spaces is probably the most important thing in my life and I try to do that as much as possible.

I rode my bicycle with some friends from Seattle, Washington to San Francisco, California when I first moved to the west coast of the USA, over 1,200 miles!

I worked as an apprentice on a small organic farm in California for a year, and would like to do work like that again.
