I have worked hard for years, missing out on the travel I would love to do. Now, I am making the travel happen, and am looking to explore the world on my own, and hopefully meet some great people along the way, who can show me their part of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to meet people on my travels, make friends, and be shown the world by locals, who are also friends. Coming from Australia, I am of course so far from Europe and the Americas, so I am not free to make short trips, but will make a few big trips, and hopefully see what the tour groups wont show you.
A place to stay for a night or two, suggestions on what to do, or a partner for a day on the snow (I try, though wont claim I am very good) skiing.

Interests

Sports - Skiing, Surfing, Water Skiing, Rugby, Baseball, Swimming. I will give most things a go.
Eating - trying new foods, true local foods. I always eat from street stalls and the like whenever I have travelled.
Beer - I am not a big drinker, but trying a new beer is always nice
