About Me

After spending too much time working too hard, I’m ready to get out and see the world. Up until recently I was a shy and very private person. I have been working very hard to break out of my shell and have been much happier for it. I’m still not on Facebook, but I am trying to live a life worth posting.

I enjoy good food. I read way too many cookbooks and like to make my own bread, pizza and ice cream. I’m always looking for my new favorite restaurant.
I’m a beer geek. I like to try local beer. Mostly drink IPAs but have started to get a taste for sours.
I helped paint a mural which sparked an interest in street art and got me drawing again.
I listen to all kinds of music and try see as many concerts as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel but I don’t like being a tourist. Friends have told me about the people they’ve met through Couchsurfing and the things they’ve seen and done. Now I’m here to try it myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something I did inspired a lyric in a song on my friends’ next album. Waiting to hear what it was.

Teach, Learn, Share

I had an Italian grandmother who insisted that her grandsons learned to cook. So, I enjoy cooking with others and sharing what I make. I want to learn about the place you live through its art, food, culture and anything else that you think I should know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook. I can fix stuff. I know a little bit about a lot of things (some of which can be very useful).
I have an open mind and am willing to try just about anything once.
