Hello all,

My name is David, and after travelling through Spain last summer, I got a real idea of what couchsurfing was all about. I met some great people, was hosted a few nights, and learned a lot about what makes this community very special.

I have dreams of travelling again shortly, but for now I'm back in the wonderful city of Cardiff. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to host people, but I'd love to meet up with anyone exploring the city. I found it so helpful speaking with local people while travelling, and I know it can get overwhelming going from city to city. We're pretty blessed in that we're quite small, and most of the main sights are centrally based. Still, I'd be more than happy to share a few beers, walk around, and offer a helping hand.

I've heard it's a brilliant way to meet people, and as I'm travelling alone, it seems like a great option to meet people from over the world. I love the idea of sharing stories, drinks, and to be shown around by people who live locally.

As mentioned, I'm more than happy to show people around Cardiff.

I used to work in sport, so have a big interest in that. Favourites include football and a number of American sports. LOVE music, and attending festivals/gigs.

The sun makes me happy. Love exploring new places.
