Overview
About Me
I'm an environmental activist and activator of necessary tools to help humans navigate the world and help the world navigate humanity. I love the outdoors and outdoor activities including hiking, climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding (briefly) and diving. I have very low requirements for accomodation, though I prefer breezy areas in nature. That's why I sleep outside and love camping. I am very much a connector and enjoy communicating verbally with people (I prefer spending as little time on the computer as possible), hence my love of amazing festivals.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I thrive on seeing the flora of the world, and prefer staying with interesting people than staying at hotels.
Interests
Documenting plants and animals in nature, fantastical wholesome festivals with groovy people and activities (two weeks ago I was at a climbing/ highlining/ slacklining festival, the previous week a tree planting festival, and next week is my favourite festival, Afrika Burn). I enjoy providing (and receiving :) massage and reiki. I also dance (Movement Medicine, Blissdance) twice a week, enjoy live music, boardgames (e.g. Carcasonne, Settlers of Catan), and cooking with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Old school singalong music like: Ben Folds Five, Billy Joel, Air, Beach Boys, Fleetwood Mac, Jack Johnson, Josh Rouse, Postal Service, Royksopp, Tears for Fears etc.
I like foreign, Westerns (for the beautiful cinematography) and thought-provoking science-fiction movies particularly: Things like City of God, Dark City, Jean de Florette etc.
I love reading books but seldom get the chance to do so. A good novel or adventure like Shantaram takes my fancy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent six months travelling through Europe between UK and Greece, giving talks at botanic gardens and universities, walking the Camino de Santiago, snorkeling, and hiking up mountains.
