Overview
About Me
I'm a Midwesterner who found his way to the Bay Area, by way of Boston, and I've enjoyed every moment of being here given the temperate weather, great people and food, and the ability to take in the natural beauty that's around me. I like good books, good food, exploring new things and doing all of this with new and interesting people, both far and near.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy traveling and meeting new people, and based on the experience of friends who have surfed successfully in the past, I decided to give it a try. I'm looking forward to meeting like minded people across the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of music, but R&B and hip hop are my favorite. Books run the gamut, from self help to investing to a trashy novel for a little mind candy every now and then. I tend to focus on genres vs actual favorite movies. I like dramas, independent films and foreign cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2007, I did a metric century ride in Capetown, South Africa, returning to the country 6 months after visiting the city on my own, where I randomly met people who became lifelong friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to trade English conversation practice for French, I'm a good cook, so I can both teach you a few tricks and share my handiwork and I enjoy learning about new cultures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good food, conversation, insights on the East Bay, and I'm happy to be your tour guide around the Bay Area in general.

Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, South Africa, Switzerland, Turks and Caicos Islands, United Kingdom
