About Me

Photography aficionado on a quest to rediscover his home country - Spain - by walking through its cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to hang out with people who can show me their favourite places in their city. I am hoping to take captivating pictures of each cities inhabitants, especially in the evening and at night. I will research each city before visiting, my purpose for each day being to get to know the city and then trying to capture interesting moments with my camera.

Interests

I am curious by nature and particularly appreciate the simple things - good food, good music and good company. Besides my job at University College London, I devote my time to a social enterprise - Lensational - who aims to empower women in developing countries through photography. We currently have projects in Pakistan, Hong Kong and Bangladesh. I my free time, I like to go to metal concerts to take pictures of the artists while drinking local brews.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I went climbing in the Semien Mountains in Ethiopia with a bunch of friends. Little did we know, that every day at around 4 pm the area would be hit by intense electric storms, leaving us no option but spend a lot of time playing drinking games by the fire. Great times!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested, I can teach you how to open a beer bottle with a piece of paper. Also, I am more than happy to show you a few tricks with digital/analogue cameras and how to use photo editing software.

Personally I want to learn about people lifestyle choices, customs and habits. I would also love to learn your favourite food and drinks recipes, as I need to freshen up my skills!

Lets share ideas and stories. Let's also discover new places, places new to you and where you'd usually not go, and go to events you would otherwise ignore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can provide you with portraits of your good self or any other photography assignment that you might be interested in. I can also talk to you in German, Spanish, English and French and share one or two anecdotes :)
