I'm a fun, energetic guy, who works hard, but always enjoys my down time. I love my music, of most types, and love seeing live events. Big into films, and enjoy a good discussion about the different opinions. Currently making my way around New Zealand, high has been incredible. The veiws, people and activities have made it one of my favorate places so far to visit. I run a business In the uk which has meant not as much travelling ask would like but now trying to make up for lost time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have meet some quality people travelling around nz, mainly in hostels, but some just on events, or adventure trips. I hope that by using couch surfing I will get to meet more cool people who can show me about the local areas, or at least push me in the right direction. I'm a very sociable person and love meeting new people and finding out what they can teach me. Hopefully along the way I may be able to impart some knowledge back.

Interests

Music is a big part of my life. Unfortunately my iPod has decided to start messing about on this trip and started to delete whole albums which is very upsetting. Still like hearing new music so meeting people expands my musical interests. I enjoy socialising, and learning new stuff, recently went to lost gypsy gallery in the south of nz, which was truly inspirational. That sort of thing really gets me excited. I like finding out how things work. Recently started climbing which is vey rewarding, and enjoy getting out on my bike. Big fan of exploring, anywhere and everywhere and finding new veiws or interesting stuff.

Music list could be endless. Jack beats, jamie t, system of a down, doc dre, all the way to Ludovico Einaudi. Very varied, and I like finding stuff that's a bit different.

Films big Tarantino lover, sin city, intacto, 27 grams, la haine, to comedy's and documentary series. Recently watched fed up, well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow this is hard. I'll have to go for the most recent amazing thing which was to swim with dolphins in the natural habitat. Got to swim in a pod of 4 dolphins who were swimming over me once I had dived down with them. You could hear them talking to each other. Felt very surreal to be a part of it, but left me smiling for a long time after.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I have said I have a thirst for learning so can bring conversation, and a sense of humour and maybe some unusual snippets of knowledge. Able to talk about a few varied subjects at great length, but also happy to have a laugh and a joke. I love to cook so given the opportunity I will knock up a very eddable plate of food. I always pay my way and will clean up after myself, and if there are some odd jobs around the house I'm pretty handy with my hands.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a big smile and a big heart, and will wake every morning with a smile and a cuppa. You might have to put up with a little singing though, if I'm in a paticually good mood. I'm very open and wear my heart on my sleeve, so hopefully I can entertain, and keep things interesting. Not. Big fan of to watching as I would rather be doing stuff.
