About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm brand new to couch surfing, and to be completely honest, I'm one of those terrible people who joined without the ability to host. I live in a one-room apartment with a bed and a concrete floor, so I've never had access to a space large enough to host guests, although I look forward to attaining that in the near future.
I've had the opportunity to travel a good bit over the past few years, and without exception, my best experiences have been interactions with the people who live in the places I visit. I would always prefer to visit a friend over staying in a hotel, and couchsurfing seems like a solid way to make new friends both as a host and a guest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When a film of mine won our university's student film festival, a few of my buddies had the brilliant idea to steal a giant ice sculpture from the awards gala. They surprised me with it after the event, and we used it to go ice blocking on the massive lawns in front of our school. The sculpture broke in half each time one of us went down the hill, so within a few runs we had eight people racing each other on butt-sized chunks of ice in the pitch dark. It was epic.
