About Me
I lived in South Korea until I was 11, and then my parents decided that it would be best for us to move to USA. For the better environment to study.
Ever since I moved to Alpharetta, GA USA, I played bass clarinet, I got to black belt in TaeKwonDo, I was part of marching band, I went to beaches where the sands were white (Florida).
I had hard time at first with new culture but I learned to live with them, because in life there's different types of avocados lol.
After high school, I luckily got into University of Georgia with Music scholarship, but later I changed my major to International Affairs.
After two years of routinized schedules and life at a university, I had urge to change my life around and do something crazy.
I thought about going to mandatory military service in Korea, but then came to the conclusion with my parents that it would be complete waste of 2 years of life (advice from my dad helped, because he had to do it).
That's when my parents and I came to a conclusion that I should learn Spanish and do a immersion program.
So I came to Antigua Guatemala with help of my parents and I have learned the culture of Guatemala, and now I can solely speak Spanish.
Life throws you a lemon, (right? the cliché saying,) You could take it and make a vodka lemonade but I say why have a hangover, just make a great Guacamole!
