Hello Friends, I’m David, from California. I grew up in Oakland, studied music in Washington, and moved to Germany in August of 2020. Since then I’ve worked for the Post, and taken more time to explore my interests outside of music. I currently work half the time as a hiking tour guide for a German agency and the other half in nature conservation/ecological planning.

I’d not had much previous experience with casual/unplanned travel before moving to Germany, but last year i found out how much fun hitchhiking can be and ended up hitching my way back to Germany from Albania. Since then I’ve been itching to go on another long hitchhiking trip but I can’t decide where to :)
