Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really really like to meet new people from different cultures, make friends overseas. And it is much more interesting to have someone who already lives in the country to take you around show you what is really interesting in the area rather that what is just mentioned over the internet (there are a lot of unknown obscure places in Cairo for example that aren't listed in TripAdvisor or Expedia).
