I'm a student native to Montreal, Canada, currently studying a MSc in Management Engineering at DTU in Denmark.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Nothing can be more true to a given culture than complete immersion for a time.
Practically, being a student also means being on a student budget. Despite, I have to capitalize on this chance to explore Europe and Scandinavia while I'm here and travel is so attainable. The reconciliation? This website.

Music, Movies, and Books
Techno and house music are my favorite, but I appreciate most genres of music as well (I have a soft spot for opera and classical). Some of my favorite artists are currently Odesza, Tom Misch, Opiuo, Griz and Tame Impala.
I'm not picky when it comes to movies or TV - anything from cartoons to serious dramas will be well received. Casually watching my way through The Office right now.
I don't read as much as I'd like to, but I'll typically pick up science fiction when I do (Ender's Game, Lord of the Rings, etc). Immediately contradicting that last sentence, I'm currently reading the Omnivore's Dilemma (albeit slowly).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I taught myself how to surf this summer in one six hour spree out in Tofino, BC, with no prior experience what so ever. I started off really well too - by putting the wetsuit on backwards.
